Despite every reason to reject him, instead the Senate confirmed Brett Kavanaugh to a life–long appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court, the highest court in the land. Despite the fact that Kavanaugh displayed a complete lack of any semblance of the proper judicial temperament nor anything resembling a balanced, equal and fair affect; despite the fact that he repeatedly lied up one side and down the other (i.e.: “drinking game” Really?) during his confirmation hearing(s) – lies (i.e.: felonious perjury) which will be “looked into” before being quickly and quietly white-washed and summarily “swept under the rug” – this unworthy cretin now sits in judgement of us all.

I feel most sorry for Dr. Blasey. She testified because she felt it her civic duty to do so but then was dismissed as either a liar or brain-damaged although neither assumption was supported by evidence or reason. Dr. Blasey had nothing to gain and everything to lose (she still can’t return to her home because of homicidal-maniac right-winger’s threats to her and her family/children).

If women have learned anything from this debacle it’s keep your mouth shut when attacked by rich, well-connected white men because nobody will believe you anyway. Well, nobody who in the end actually counts.
